Excellence in teaching and learning is our key priority and teachers strive to provide a stimulating and varied approach to teaching which encourages and invites active pupil participation and offers a voice in their own learning. Through this Fernhill promotes within our pupils a belief in life-long learning.

Our approach is pupil-centred and concentrated on the personal and intellectual needs of our pupils. Teachers ensure that our pupils develop effective oral and written communication skills, learn to deal with complex and difficult subject matter as well as obtaining good organisational skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
